Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh receives General Director of Zarubezhneft Group

(Dan Tri) - Recognizing the results of cooperation over the past 40 years between the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Zarubezhneft Company, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the Vietnamese Government always supports businesses in expanding cooperation.

During his working trip to Russia to attend the 2024 BRICS Leaders' Summit in Kazan city, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received General Director of Zarubezhneft Group Sergei Kudryashov on the afternoon of October 23 (local time).

According to the head of the Vietnamese Government , the field of oil, gas and energy cooperation is a symbol of close and effective cooperation between Vietnam and Russia, actively contributing to the development of each country.

The General Director of Zarubezhneft Company reported to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the results of cooperation between the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Zarubezhneft in Vietnam and Russia.

Thanking the Government and the Prime Minister for their attention and facilitation of cooperation between Zarubezhneft and the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Mr. Sergei Kudryashov said that after meeting the Prime Minister in Hanoi in April, a number of difficulties and obstacles in cooperation between the two sides had been resolved.

He hopes that the Vietnamese Government and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh personally will continue to consider supporting the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Zarubezhneft Company to expand cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit, in accordance with the actual situation.

Acknowledging the results of cooperation over the past 40 years between the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Zarubezhneft Company, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the Vietnamese Government always supports businesses of the two countries to expand cooperation.

According to the Prime Minister, this cooperation must comply with the laws of each country, on the basis of the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the interests of the people of the two countries.

The head of the Vietnamese Government also hopes that the two sides will promote cooperation in new areas such as tourism, green energy, clean energy, construction and development of infrastructure serving energy - oil and gas cooperation.

The General Director of Zarubezhneft Company agreed with the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and affirmed that he will closely coordinate with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group to realize these proposals.
