Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed and highly appreciated the cooperation between staBOO Holdings AG and Vietnamese partners to build a factory using environmentally friendly materials and modern technology.
Under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, staBOO Holdings AG and Sao Thai Duong Investment Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation to build a factory producing particle board and OSB plywood from bamboo in Thanh Hoa province with a total investment of VND 3,000 billion, with a capacity of 225,000 m3 of products/year; expected to consume 1,000 - 2,000 tons of bamboo/day and create more than 3,000 jobs.
Mr. Marcus Bards, Chairman of the Board of Directors of staBOO Holdings AG, and his colleagues highly appreciated the investment environment in Vietnam, believing that Vietnam has great potential for developing the furniture industry, especially from bamboo and rattan raw materials. staBOO Holdings AG wishes to invest long-term, accompanying the green and sustainable development of Vietnam - one of the places with the largest bamboo area in the world , considered the homeland of bamboo.

The Prime Minister suggested that the two sides cooperate closely to effectively and successfully implement the project in Vietnam, contributing to increasing the value and export of Vietnamese bamboo products, especially to Middle Eastern countries.

The Prime Minister said that Vietnam is prioritizing projects with advanced technology, new technology, high technology, clean technology, modern management, high added value, spillover effects, and connections to global production and supply chains.
During the project implementation, the Prime Minister requested staBOO Holdings AG to comply with environmental regulations; plan long-term raw material areas, create jobs, livelihoods and ensure stable income for farmers; train local workers and support Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the company's global production and supply chain.
The Prime Minister said that Vietnam will accompany and assign relevant agencies to continue supporting the company in implementing the project in accordance with the law.
