Prime Minister receives CEO of Trump Organization, investing 1.5 billion USD in Hung Yen

The CEO of the Trump Organization said he is working closely with agencies with the hope that the project will be implemented as quickly as possible, and completed in the next two years.

On the afternoon of March 18, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Mr. Charles James Boyd Bowman, general director of the Trump Organization 's project in Vietnam.

The project of urban complex, eco-tourism, sports and high-end golf course in Hung Yen province, providing services according to the highest standards of Trump Organization, has a total estimated investment of about 1.5 billion USD, proposed by the investor as a joint venture of Hung Yen Investment and Development Group Joint Stock Company and IDG Capital (representing Trump Organization).

Appreciating the businesses' interest in investing in projects in Hung Yen province, the Prime Minister said that Vietnamese agencies will consider comprehensively to promote the project as soon as possible, in accordance with relevant legal regulations, ensuring the interests of relevant parties.

Vietnam is also promoting administrative procedure reform, making decisions faster, with a spirit of valuing time, promoting intelligence and decisiveness, bringing about specific, quantifiable products, results and benefits.

The Prime Minister suggested that the Trump Organization consider Vietnam as a business base, research and expand investment and business activities to other localities in Vietnam and potential areas where the enterprise has strengths.

Along with that, Vietnam is interested in and prioritizing the promotion of the field; strengthening cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises, supporting Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the ecosystem and supply chain of the group globally.

The Prime Minister also asked businesses to have a voice to contribute to promoting high-level visits between the two countries.

The US has policies in line with bilateral relations, continues to take steps towards recognizing Vietnam as a market economy and creates conditions for Vietnam to import high-tech equipment from the US.

Thanking the support and close cooperation of the ministries and Hung Yen province, Mr. Charles James Boyd Bowman said that he is working closely with the agencies with the hope that the project will be implemented as soon as possible; completed in the next 2 years (March 2027) to serve the APEC 2027 occasion, becoming the leading golf course in Vietnam and a globally famous golf destination.

He also said that the company is researching investment in other projects and fields in Vietnam; promoting visits by the Trump Group's leadership to Vietnam and contributing to promoting the relationship between the two countries, building a high-quality image of Vietnam to the world and the US government.
