By 2024, the entire Dong Thap province (old) will have 30 lotus processing enterprises with 120 products of food and cosmetics, including 54 OCOP products and 1 5-star OCOP product.

In May 2024, in Thap Muoi district, now Thap Muoi commune, Dai Viet Lotus Joint Stock Company coordinated with Dong Thap Lotus Industry Association to organize a ceremony to announce the export of lotus batches to the Japanese market.
