In that formation, Sergeant Bui Quang Linh (from Tien Hai District, Thai Binh ) received the attention of many people because he was considered a "3 in 1" sergeant when he participated in the parade, filmed and sang with the Chinese delegation.
Proud to walk on Red Square
Sharing with the press, Sergeant Bui Quang Linh said that the parade had passed but his emotions were still intact. The young man from Thai Binh confided that being able to march in the formation of the Vietnam People's Army at Red Square was an unforgettable memory and honor.
He is proud to have contributed his small part to help the team bring the image of the Vietnamese army to the world . To do this, he and his teammates had to overcome many difficulties when training in Russia such as time zone differences, cold weather, and many times of snowfall...
"During those difficult times, we were guided and cared for by the officers and teachers in the group, even in the smallest things. The teachers bought us extra thermal clothing and tried to arrange at least one Vietnamese meal every day so that we could get used to Russian food," said Sergeant Linh, who assessed that each training session in Russia was not only to practice military parade techniques, but also to train each person's will.

Sergeant Bui Quang Linh also added that when seeing foreign military delegations practicing professionally and systematically, he and his teammates realized their responsibility, not to be inferior to anyone, to bring the beautiful and powerful image of the Vietnam People's Army to friends around the world.
Impressive memories of the exchange with Chinese military soldiers
Revealing his "3 in 1" role when participating in the parade in Russia, Sergeant Linh said that during the training, the reporter of Vietnam National Defense Television interviewed soldiers in the group. At that time, the reporter instructed him on how to hold the camera and then interview his teammates. After that, Linh learned how to hold the camera and then came up with his own story to interview his teammates without any script.

Another interesting moment that Sergeant Linh will always remember is the cultural exchange between the Vietnamese delegation and delegations from countries such as Laos, Myanmar, China, etc. to increase cohesion and learn about the cultures of other countries.
Having always had a passion for singing Chinese songs, Sergeant Linh was chosen by his teachers to open the cultural exchange program with the neighboring countries. Afterwards, Sergeant Linh and the Chinese soldiers sang Chinese songs to the enthusiastic cheers of their comrades.
"I suddenly remembered that song, without any prior preparation because I was just thinking about how to have a fun cultural exchange with each other," Sergeant Linh continued.
