Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh inspects administrative reform and digital transformation work at the Chemical Corps

( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of November 12, in Hanoi, a working delegation of the Ministry of National Defense led by Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for administrative reform and digital transformation of the Ministry of National Defense, inspected the administrative reform and digital transformation work at the Chemical Corps.


Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh chaired the meeting.

The report at the working session showed that, in the past time, the Standing Party Committee and the commander of the Chemical Corps have led and directed the application of digital technology in command, management and operation of the unit; organized the implementation of combat readiness tasks, responded to chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear incidents and prevented and combated the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction; proactively applied technology to research, manufacture and use products with high information technology and digital transformation content. Notably, the Corps has built an integrated system to support decision-making in responding to and combating radioactive and nuclear incidents, allowing online monitoring of the natural and artificial radiation situation on topographic maps and military terrain databases; reported and assessed the situation to support commanders in decision-making in responding to, rescuing and combating incidents when incidents occur. At the same time, organized the management and monitoring of the Radiation Reconnaissance System in the Army; Management system for people with disabilities and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin; software for managing areas contaminated with toxic chemicals left over from the war. Building a mobile environmental radiation monitoring station that automatically transmits warning signals to the control center via multiple protocols.

In particular, the Corps promotes digital transformation in chemical engineering andeducation and training. Many chemical equipment are integrated with technology systems and digital transformation software such as reconnaissance vehicles, automatic toxic detectors, radiation meters, etc. Thereby, awareness of administrative reform has many positive changes; the goals and tasks of administrative reform and digital transformation are completed on time; contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management and operation at all levels, building a regular, elite and modern Chemical Corps.

Concluding the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of administrative reform and digital transformation of the Chemical Corps. In the coming time, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh requested the Party Committee and the command of the Chemical Corps to continue to pay more attention to administrative reform and digital transformation; considering this one of the key political tasks to build a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical".


Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh visited the exhibition area of information technology equipment and administrative reform software at the Chemical Corps.

In addition, it is necessary to do a good job of checking and reviewing legal documents; resolutely deploying the digitalization of records and results of administrative procedure settlement according to plan. Highlighting the role of leaders and the drastic participation of all agencies, units, and levels in digital transformation and administrative reform. Researching the integration, connection, sharing, and interconnection of data between specialized software, creating a synchronous and unified database to serve the direction and operation of the Head of the Service based on digital data. Agencies and units proactively coordinate with the Information and Communications Service to propose expanding military data transmission lines, upgrading bandwidth at units with low bandwidth; coordinating with Command 86 to deploy the use of the new version of the Command and Operation Information System, testing the transfer and receipt of documents on wireless devices; Research on integrating, connecting, sharing, and interoperating data between specialized software, creating a synchronous and unified database to serve direction and operation based on digital data.
