Public Health and Nutrition Department of Hong Bang International University takes the floor score of 15

GD&TĐ - On July 16, Hong Bang International University officially announced the minimum admission score for the 2025 high school graduation exam results.

Immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the score distribution for the 2025 high school graduation exam, the Hong Bang International University (HIU) Council officially announced the minimum admission scores for each admission method.

Specifically, for the admission method based on high school graduation exam results and the combined admission method using high school graduation exam scores and 12th-grade academic transcripts (1 subject from the transcript + 2 subjects from the high school graduation exam), the minimum admission score is 15 points, applicable to all undergraduate programs in all subject groups; including two health-related fields: Public Health and Nutrition, and other fields.

Specifically for health-related fields requiring professional certification/licenses such as: Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, and Medical Imaging Technology, the minimum admission score will be based on the quality assurance threshold set by the Ministry of Education and Training (announced on July 21st).

According to Mr. Ngo Tri Dung, Director of the Admissions and Communications Center of HIU, the aforementioned minimum score is the minimum score required for candidates to register their application for admission to HIU. This score is calculated based on the total score of the three subjects corresponding to the training program (admission code) that the candidate registers for, including priority points based on region and category as per current regulations.

If applying based on academic transcripts, candidates must have an average score of 18 points in three subjects in grade 12 (total score of the three subjects in grade 12) or an average score of 6 points or higher for the entire grade 12 year. For the aptitude test method of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City or V-SAT, the school accepts applications from candidates with a score of 15 points (converted to a 30-point scale).

For health-related fields, the minimum entrance score based on academic transcripts for the following three subjects is 24 points for Medicine and Dentistry (requiring excellent academic performance); 22.5 points for Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy (requiring excellent academic performance); and 19.5 points for other fields including Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, and Medical Imaging Technology; and 18 points (no academic requirement) for Nutrition and Public Health.

All candidates participating in the 2025 high school graduation exam, who meet the graduation requirements and have a total admission score equal to or higher than the minimum quality assurance threshold (cutoff score), are eligible to apply for admission to Hong Bang International University.

The registration, adjustment, and addition of admission preferences must be completed within the timeframe stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training, from July 16th to before 5 PM on July 28th, with no limit on the number of registrations.

Please note that candidates do not need to select an admission method code or an admission combination code; they only need to clearly identify the program, major, or group of majors they wish to study in order to decide on their registration. The Ministry of Education and Training's general admissions support system will use the method with the highest score achieved by the candidate for admission consideration.

Immediately after completing the online application process, candidates are required to pay the application fee online to be considered to have completed the registration process. In addition, candidates need to submit all required documents to be officially admitted.

Candidates register their official university admission preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training's portal at: http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

When registering, candidates should prioritize choosing HIU - Hong Bang International University as their first choice and select the correct admission code corresponding to the major code among HIU's 40 training programs.

The results of the selection process are expected to be announced before 5 PM on August 22nd.
