Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son presided over the acceptance flight of the helicopter take-off and landing site at Military Hospital 175.
On October 13, with the consent and direction of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Military Hospital 175 coordinated with Division 370, Air Defense - Air Force to organize a flight to inspect and accept the helicopter take-off and landing site on the roof of Military Hospital 175.

Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army attended and chaired the inspection and acceptance flight.
Accordingly, the helicopters of Division 370 performed hovering, take-off, landing, approaching the take-off and landing area on the roof of the 175 Military Hospital building (1,000 beds), combined with air traffic coordination work. The flight inspection ensured flight safety in accordance with the technical procedures of the Ministry of National Defense . The results showed that the technical items and military aviation safety of the helicopter take-off and landing area on the roof of the 175 Military Hospital building met the standards, ready to be put into operation to perform emergency flights and transport patients.
The 370th Division's helicopter approached the takeoff site and landed on the roof of the 1,000-bed General Hospital building of the 175th Military Hospital .
The results of the flight inspection, acceptance, and comprehensive assessment of the technical quality and actual operational capacity of the helicopter landing pad will be used as a basis for reporting and requesting permission from the Ministry of National Defense to decide on its use. This is also the second helicopter landing pad at the 175 Military Hospital; previously, the landing pad on the roof of the Orthopedic Institute building had been operating effectively in recent times.
Speaking at the acceptance ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son acknowledged that Military Hospital 175 has made great strides in development, becoming one of the leading hospitals of the Army and the whole country in the Southern region. This is also the first medical unit in the country to invest in building two helicopter landing pads.
Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son emphasized: Putting the helicopter landing and take-off site into operation has a special significance in air rescue work, especially taking advantage of the "golden hour, golden minute, golden second" to save the lives of critically ill patients. Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son requested relevant units to review and complete documents, ensure full technical conditions, coordinate closely and strictly comply with flight safety regulations to submit to competent authorities for decision, and soon put the second landing and take-off site into operation.
