Ministry-level acceptance of the project "History of the An Giang Provincial Police Party Committee 1976-2020"

On October 8, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security, the Department of Science, Strategy and History of the Public Security organized a ministerial-level acceptance meeting on the topic "History of the An Giang Provincial Public Security Party Committee, period 1976 - 2020" chaired by the An Giang Provincial Public Security and Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security as Chairman. Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Vi Dan, the Thematic Research Board assisting the Minister, was the chairman of the acceptance council.

The topic aims to recreate and comprehensively evaluate the leadership role of the An Giang Provincial Police Party Committee in carrying out the tasks of building and protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety through the periods; honoring the achievements, contributions and sacrifices of generations of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police in the cause of protecting the Fatherland. Thereby, drawing lessons for leadership and direction in the new situation, contributing to educating the traditions, politics and ideology of officers, party members and soldiers of the Provincial Police force.

Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, said that during the implementation process, the research and compilation team had fully implemented the scientific research process. At each step, seminars and workshops were organized to seek opinions from leaders, scientists and researchers to edit, supplement and complete the draft of the topic. The topic received enthusiastic professional support from scientists, experts and experienced practical officers inside and outside the police force, especially the Department of Science, Strategy and History of the Police.

As a result, 100% of the acceptance council members voted unanimously to accept the topic "History of the An Giang Provincial Police Party Committee in the period 1976 - 2020".
