Progress of the 80,000 billion VND super project of Vinhomes joint venture in Long An

(Dan Tri) - According to the investor, from the first quarter of 2028 to the fourth quarter of 2030, the Phuoc Vinh Tay new urban area project ( Long An ) will be completed and put into use.

The consortium of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company (stock code: VHM) and Vietnam Investment Group Joint Stock Company (VIG) has just announced the Environmental Impact Assessment Report of the Phuoc Vinh Tay New Urban Area project (Phuoc Vinh Tay commune, Can Giuoc district, Long An province).

In the report, this urban area has a land use scale of nearly 1,090 hectares. Regarding the project boundary, the North borders Rach Van River; the South and East borders Phuoc Vinh Tay residential area, part of Long Phung, Dong Thanh, Phuoc Vinh Dong communes; the West borders Can Giuoc River.

The current status of the project is relatively flat, with more than 566 hectares of aquaculture land; 201 hectares of existing residential land; 94 hectares of cultivated land; 68 hectares of unused land; 136 hectares of water surface land and the rest is cemetery land, rice land, traffic land...

In the land use structure, Phuoc Vinh Tay Urban Area will be divided into 3 sub-areas, with a population of nearly 90,000 people.

Of which, Area A has a total area of ​​234ha, construction area of ​​767,360 m2, floor area of ​​more than 4.1 million m2. In Area A, about 82ha will be arranged to build housing projects; 9ha of public land for residential units; 5ha of green land; 33.5ha of traffic land and more than 78ha of non-civil land (technical infrastructure, external traffic, parking lots, water surface...).

Area B has a total area of ​​534 hectares, construction area of ​​about 1.74 million m2, floor area of ​​about 9.7 million m2. Here, 182 hectares are arranged for housing construction; 18 hectares of urban public land; 15 hectares of public land for residential units; 54 hectares of traffic land and 193 hectares of non-civil land.

Area C will have an area of ​​322 hectares, of which the construction area is more than 1.1 million m2, the floor area is about 5.8 million m2. In area C, 108 hectares will be arranged for housing construction; 20 hectares of urban public land; 12 hectares of public land for residential units; 48 hectares of traffic land; 102.5 hectares of non-civil land.

The entire project will have a total of 15,244 low-rise unfinished plots of land, including 7,050 townhouses and 8,194 villas. Social housing will have 13,440 apartments, with 10-storey buildings. Low-rise resettlement housing will have about 2,370 units.

The investor said that from now until the end of the fourth quarter, compensation and site clearance will be carried out; from the first quarter of 2026 to the fourth quarter of 2027, infrastructure investment and resettlement arrangements will be made; from the first quarter of 2028 to the fourth quarter of 2030, the project will be completed and put into use. The investment capital for the project is about VND 80,079 billion.

Previously, in January, the Management Board of Can Giuoc District Construction Investment Project, Long An Province, organized the payment of compensation and support for site clearance for the project. 61 households whose agricultural land was recovered received a total amount of about 150 billion VND.

Also in Long An province, in October 2023, Green City Development Joint Stock Company (a subsidiary of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company) was approved as the investor of the Duc Hoa - Hau Nghia New Urban Area project with a scale of nearly 200 hectares and a total investment of more than VND 28,000 billion.
