Exciting Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is an annual activity carried out by the Youth Union and Association at all levels in the province with many practical and meaningful volunteer activities, attracting a large number of young union members to participate.

Vinh Phuc youth have promoted their youth, intelligence, sense of responsibility, initiative, volunteering for the community, participating in poverty reduction, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, maintaining traffic order and safety, protecting the environment, providing free medical examination and medicine to people; propagating and guiding people to digital transformation, using online public services and many other meaningful works and tasks.

Recently, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union held the Launching Ceremony of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, kicking off an exciting summer of volunteering.

The ceremony took place in a heroic atmosphere, demonstrating the determination of Vinh Phuc youth to compete and contribute to building their homeland. At the ceremony, delegates performed the campaign launching ceremony; introducing 6 youth volunteer teams in the campaign including: Exam Support, Green Summer, Red Flamboyant, Pink Vacation, Green March, and Digital Popular Education.

The Central Youth Union and the Central Vietnam Student Association awarded 10 "Supporting exam season" scholarships to disadvantaged students of Tam Duong High School.

The Provincial Youth Union, Tam Duong District Youth Union and units and enterprises presented 10 gifts to students in difficult circumstances with good academic achievements in Tam Duong district.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the district and city Youth Unions launched many response activities. At Phuc Yen Secondary School, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Council organized a festival for young propaganda teams on drowning prevention, injury accidents and child abuse in 2025.

The teams competed in two parts: "Smart Young People" and "Talented Young People". In particular, the "Talented Young People" part was carefully performed by the teams based on real-life situations, achieving high efficiency in promoting,educating , and raising awareness about the importance of caring for, educating, and protecting children.

At the program, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association awarded 10 "Supporting the exam season" scholarships to disadvantaged students who strive to study well in Phuc Yen city; implemented the "Exchange paper for trees" program, awarded a "Green House" and a waste classification model at source to Phuc Yen Secondary School.

At Tam Duong High School, the Provincial Youth Union organized the forum "Vinh Phuc Youth - Forever Remembering the Gratitude" on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

Responding to the Launching Ceremony of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, Song Lo district organized the inauguration of the "Youth Tree Road" project; Binh Xuyen district donated funds to remove temporary and dilapidated houses to households in difficult circumstances; Lap Thach and Tam Dao districts organized a training course on "Digital Education for the People" for Youth Union members; Tam Duong District Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center organized propaganda and education on legal regulations on drug prevention and control for Youth Union members...

Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Trung Kien said: "This year's Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is being implemented by the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee according to youth groups with 1 program and 4 campaigns, peaking from June 1 to August 31; 12 basic targets in the campaign are linked to political tasks and practical needs of each locality and unit.

To successfully carry out the targets and tasks of the campaign, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee directed the district, city and affiliated Youth Unions to deploy focused and key activities associated with the political tasks and practical needs of the locality and unit.

Proactively advise the Party Committee, government and coordinate with relevant units to exploit resources to support the campaign implementation; mobilize the participation of a large number of young union members, volunteer clubs, and university clubs in the campaign.

Promote effectively the creativity, initiative and volunteerism of young people in implementing youth projects and tasks; strengthen propaganda and education of young union members; establish and effectively deploy the "Digital Education for the People" volunteer youth team at 100% of Youth Union bases.

Through the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, we aim to create a lively practical environment for young union members to practice, contribute and mature; contributing to the formation of a generation of young people who live beautifully, have courage, intelligence, health and social practice skills.

This is also a peak emulation period for the Youth Union at all levels to carry out youth projects and tasks; put the Resolution of the Youth Union Congress at all levels into practice in the work of the Youth Union and the youth and children's movement.
