Compared with the domestic SJC gold bar price on the same day (117.0-120.0 million VND/tael), the SJC gold price is currently about 14.18 million higher than the international gold price.

The gold market is showing positive signs after a strong recovery last week. According to a survey by Kitco News, 81% of experts predict that prices will continue to rise, 19% think prices will stabilize. Meanwhile, 63% of retail investors expect prices to rise, 21% predict a decrease and 16% think prices will remain stable.
Ole Hansen from Saxo Bank said that the price of gold surpassing the threshold of 3,355 USD/ounce could signal the end of the short-term correction. He also warned that the bond market is too pessimistic, which could lead to a shift to risky assets. The demand for safe-haven gold could increase due to trade tensions after former US President Donald Trump's announcement of increasing import tariffs on European goods.
Rich Checkan of Asset Strategies International is bullish on gold, citing two factors: Moody's downgrade of U.S. government bonds and the possibility of a deficit spending bill being passed. He noted that gold's advance ahead of a long holiday usually signals an uptrend.
James Stanley from Forex.com also maintained a positive view as gold prices held steady around $3,350 an ounce. He said the $3,500 an ounce level should be watched – if broken, prices could head towards $4,000 an ounce.
