Training on AI application on e-commerce trading floor

BPO - On the morning of May 26, at the Vocational Training and Farmer Support Center, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized a training course on developing human resources for trade and communication for agricultural products and goods on e-commerce platforms for members of ethnic minority groups.

Attending the training were 50 officials and farmer members from 5 districts in the province that are implementing the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2025 period.

Ethnic minority farmers from disadvantaged communes in the province are trained in AI applications.

During the 3 days, officials, farmer members, business households, cooperatives, and cooperative groups living in extremely disadvantaged communes under sub-projects 2 and 3 of the program were introduced to an overview of artificial intelligence (AI), and how to apply AI in accessing product consumption markets through digital platforms. In addition to learning theory, members also practiced using some popular AI applications in smart agriculture ; learned how to look up information, keep electronic production diaries, and were transferred techniques to link households and groups of households to develop production and business along the value chain.

The reporter introduced and implemented ways to apply AI in market access through digital platforms at the training class.

The training course contributes to opening up a new direction in applying scientific and technological advances to production and business on e-commerce platforms to increase income and improve the lives of farmers in remote areas.
