Recently, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering has presided over and coordinated with agencies and units to build a framework of electronic identification codes for group 2 technical equipment and technical supplies to unify the code structure, mechanism for creating, issuing and managing electronic identification codes for group 2 technical equipment and technical supplies managed by the entire military's technical branches; issued 6 documents guiding, directing and urging the technical branches; organized military-wide training on building a database of electronic identification codes.

Agencies and units have made good use of the software provided by the General Department in building an electronic identification code database. Currently, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering directs technical departments to continue reviewing and filtering duplicate data between departments, standardizing and refining information to ensure that the data is "correct, sufficient, clean, and alive" and submitting it to the General Department's head for approval.

Speaking at the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the management of technical equipment of Group 2 of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering and agencies and units. In the coming time, the Deputy Minister of National Defense requested the General Department of Logistics and Engineering to complete the procedures for checking information security and network security and coordinate with relevant agencies to install the Digital Ecosystem at the Ministry of National Defense Data Center, ready to deploy the application. Report on the issuance of operating regulations, implementation of some technical work aspects through the digital ecosystem of the technical sector, moving towards eliminating some paper books and reports of the entire military technical sector; deploying the entire military technical sector to enter data, ensuring information is "correct, sufficient, clean, and alive".
