Received emergency treatment for 55 traffic accident cases during Tet holiday

Information from the Provincial General Hospital said that during the Lunar New Year 2024, emergency, medical examination and treatment activities will take place normally, ensuring medical work according to the set plan.

Accordingly, from February 9 to today, February 12 (ie from December 30 to January 3 of the Lunar New Year), the hospital received 501 medical examinations and treatments; received 55 emergency cases of traffic accidents, 5 cases of firecracker accidents, 1 case of homemade weapons and explosives accident and recorded 28 births.

For inpatients receiving treatment at the hospital during Tet, the leaders, medical staff, doctors and medical staff, in addition to ensuring examination and treatment, also regularly visit, encourage and provide necessary support to help them stabilize their spirit and be happy so they can feel secure in their treatment.

Previously, to ensure good conditions for medical treatment and examination during the 2024 Lunar New Year, the hospital assigned a 4-level Tet duty schedule, with 155 staff members participating in duty at the hospital every day, maintaining permanent duty, and establishing an external emergency team.

At the same time, fully prepare medicine, supplies, and chemicals to serve patients. Have a plan to ensure safety in fire prevention and fighting work, ensuring security and order.

Promote social work, coordinate with individuals, units, and organizations to carry out activities to care for patients; maintain normal hospital activities to protect the rights, benefits, and conveniences of patients and their families when coming for medical examination and treatment during Tet.
