On the afternoon of June 10, the Party Committee of the Department of Industry and Trade held the 4th Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Industrial production continues to be the main driving force of the economy , with new momentum for growth. The average growth of the whole industry in the period 2021 - 2025 will reach nearly 6%, with the processing and manufacturing industry accounting for a high proportion in the internal structure.

Key industrial products have continuously grown, making important contributions to the economy; electricity, steel, and beer products alone contribute 25% to GRDP. The electricity industry has seen remarkable growth, with thermal power increasing by 1,200 MW compared to the beginning of the term, renewable power increasing by 230 MWp, and hydropower increasing by 33 MW.

Services and trade have recovered positively after the Covid-19 pandemic. The service sector's growth has reached an average of 6% per year. Market developments and commodity prices are regularly monitored, and solutions are proposed to regulate supply and demand of goods and stabilize the market...

Continue to complete plans and projects for the development of supporting industries, industry and handicrafts for the period 2026 - 2030; effectively implement policies on developing trade and logistics services; strengthen state management, ensure supply-demand balance, stabilize the market; step up the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, protect the rights and legitimate interests of people and businesses; advise on the implementation of the 8th Power Plan, focusing on developing new energy sources and renewable energy.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Industry and Trade sector to continue to effectively implement the digital transformation program in trade promotion; effectively carry out administrative reform in the period of 2021 - 2030 associated with promoting the application of information technology, digital transformation, and innovation according to Resolution 57 of the Politburo; deploy Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development.
