Continue to recall and destroy the 4th product distributed by Doan Di Bang

After recalling 3 batches of violating products, the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) has just decided to recall another product distributed by Doan Di Bang because the ingredients are not as declared.

Recall of imported products of Doan Di Bang company

On May 27, the Department of Drug Administration decided to suspend circulation and recall nationwide the product G-Thera Amino Anti-Wrinkle Mask, 5 pieces, 25g box, batch number: CL06C7, expiry date: EXP20251218, announcement receipt number 196219/23/CBMP-QLD.

The product is organized by VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (address: Mezzanine floor of Dai Thanh Binh building, 911-913-915-917 Nguyen Trai, Ward 14, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City), responsible for bringing the product to the market. The manufacturer is C&Tech Corporation, Korea.

VB Group is the legal entity behind the Hanayuki cosmetics brand. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu - singer Doan Di Bang's husband - is the legal representative and general director of the company.

The reason for the recall given by the Drug Administration of Vietnam is that the original product label does not contain the correct ingredients as stated in the cosmetic product declaration file (missing Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin).

The Department requests the health departments of provinces and centrally run cities to notify businesses and cosmetic users in the area to immediately stop trading and using the above products and return them to the product suppliers.

Proceed to recall and destroy the above-mentioned violating products; inspect and supervise units implementing this notice; handle violating units according to current regulations.

VB Group Company must send recall notices to the distributors of the above products; receive returned products from business establishments and recall all products that do not meet regulations.

The company must also continue to quarantine and preserve the recalled cosmetic products until there is an opinion on destruction from the competent state agency.

Review the formula ingredients on the original label with the cosmetic product declaration form for other imported batches of the violating G-Thera Amino Anti - Wrinkle Mask product. In case of similar errors as the above violating batch, the company must promptly notify the distribution and usage establishments of the recall and send a report on the review and recall of the product to the Department of Drug Administration.

The Department emphasized that the company takes full responsibility before the law if the report is dishonest.

In this decision, the Drug Administration also requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to supervise VB Group Company in recalling the above products and handling violations in accordance with regulations.

At the same time, continue to clarify and handle violations (if any) for 2 products using phrases that can be misunderstood as drugs, namely Hanayuki Shampoo product, Hanayuki Empire of Beauty brand, 300g bottle, NSX: 050125, HSD: 040127, LO: 0010125 (receipt of declaration form 780/24/CBMP-DN) and VB Soft & Silk product, Hanayuki Empire of Beauty brand, 150g bottle, NSX: 020125, HSD: 010127, LO: 0010125 (receipt of declaration form 792/24/CBMP-DN) recorded in inspection report No. 91/BB-TTra dated May 22, 2025.

The Department recommends that units complete and transfer violation records for products with signs of criminal violations discovered during the inspection process to the police agency for investigation and handling of violations according to authority.

Previously, as reported by Tuoi Tre Online , 3 batches of products distributed by Doan Di Bang's husband's company were recalled and destroyed nationwide, including shampoo, conditioner and sunscreen.

On May 27, Dong Nai province authorities held an urgent meeting and agreed to initiate a criminal case to investigate the suspended cosmetics distributed by the company of Doan Di Bang's husband.

In which, it was agreed to initiate a case to investigate signs of counterfeit production of Hanayuki Sunscreen Body sunscreen products produced by EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company (Giang Dien Industrial Park, Trang Bom District).
