Pursuant to Decision No. 70/GP-BVHTTDL, dated July 10, 2025, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism granted a license to operate printed magazines and electronic magazines to Bac Lieu University (No. 178, Vo Thi Sau Street, Bac Lieu Ward, Ca Mau Province).
The Bac Lieu University Science Journal will inform about the scientific activities of the school; published every 3 months (for printed journals), released on the 28th of each month: March, June, September and December, size 19cm x 27cm, 120 pages thick. For the electronic journal (domain name: blunisj.vn ), information is periodically updated according to legal regulations to introduce and publish scientific research results in the fields of training and teaching of Bac Lieu University.
The decision signed by Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh on behalf of the above-mentioned Minister also appointed Dr. Tien Hai Ly, Vice Principal of Bac Lieu University, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of the printed and electronic magazines .
This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and replaces Decision 83/GP-BTTTT, dated March 15, 2023 of the Ministry of Information and Communications issued to Bac Lieu University Science Journal (printed journal type) and related licenses.
Bac Lieu University Science Journal was born in early 2023 and the first issue was released in September of the same year. |
* Previously, on July 11, 2025, Bac Lieu University Science Journal was officially recognized by Mr. Nguyen Kim Son, Chairman of the State Council of Professors, in Decision No. 26/QD-HDGSNN, in the List of scientific journals to be scored in 2025. This is the first scientific journal of Ca Mau province to achieve this achievement.
The event is an important milestone, affirming the quality and academic reputation of the Journal. Accordingly, the Bac Lieu University Journal of Science was approved in 28 categories of the 2025 Faculty Council, especially recognized by 3 new Faculty Councils, including: Economics, Educational Sciences and Biology.
This means that each article in one of the three fields: Economics, Educational Sciences and Biology published in the Bac Lieu University Science Journal will be counted as 0.25 points. The counting of points will create a strong motivation for scientists, lecturers and postgraduates, encouraging the publication of quality works in the Journal to serve the consideration of recognition of the title of professor and associate professor.
Bac Lieu University Science Journal is the scientific mouthpiece of the University, with the function of publishing research results in many diverse fields such as: Natural Sciences, Social Sciences - Humanities, Educational Sciences, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Agricultural Sciences, Aquaculture and Environment.
From July 2025, the Journal will be published in both print and electronic formats. Articles published in the Journal will also be published online on the Vietnam Science Journal Page (https://www.vjol.info.vn), contributing to improving the effectiveness of knowledge dissemination and promoting scientific research activities. To date, the Journal has been published 7 times, the latest issue reaching readers from April 23, 2025.
The magazine operates under the provisions of the Press Law , Publishing Law, operating license of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and regulations of Bac Lieu University.
