Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force

The Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers has just organized a program to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Volunteers (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Phu Yen Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers (2005-2025). Attending the program were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, relevant departments and branches; the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and nearly 200 former Youth Volunteers, union members and youths in the whole province.

At the program, delegates reviewed the heroic revolutionary tradition of the nation, homeland, and the tradition of the Youth Volunteer Force over the past 75 years. On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen province awarded a certificate of merit to the Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association for its outstanding achievements in building and developing the Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Association's establishment. The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Veterans Association awarded the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Veterans Medal to 29 former Youth Volunteer Veterans members in the province and awarded certificates of merit to 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in the activities and development of the Phu Yen Provincial Youth Volunteer Veterans Association in the period 2005-2025.

The Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Veterans Association mobilized benefactors to present 100 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to war invalids and veteran members in especially difficult circumstances; and presented longevity letters and gifts to elderly veteran members.
