SONG CAU: Caring for more than 1,900 poor and near-poor households

On June 23, news from the Fatherland Front Committee of Song Cau Town said that, implementing the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", the Fatherland Front Committee of the town and communes and wards have coordinated to review the subjects that need attention and care in the town. Accordingly, there are 1,930 poor households, near-poor households and 895 other cases that are regularly cared for and cared for.

Based on this review, since the beginning of the year, the Fatherland Front at all levels has coordinated with local departments, branches and organizations to mobilize the community, businesses and philanthropists to present 6,289 gifts worth more than 2.5 billion VND and promptly allocated 6,289 gifts to poor households, near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances during holidays and Tet. Member organizations of the town's Fatherland Front have also mobilized 546 million VND and presented 1,110 gifts to poor union members, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, orphans, children with severe disabilities and households in difficult circumstances...

It is known that in the first 6 months of 2025, the whole town mobilized more than 734 million VND into the Fund for the Poor. Caring for poor, near-poor households and difficult cases is a regular and important activity of the Fatherland Front at all levels and Party committees, authorities, and mass organizations in Song Cau town to help the poor overcome difficulties, improve their lives, and at the same time demonstrate the spirit of mutual love and responsibility of the community to join hands for the poor - leaving no one behind.
