Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Bui Ha Phuong - Chairman of the Trade Union of the School of Training and Fostering Cadres of Natural Resources and Environment said that this is an important activity in the political life of cadres, union members, and all levels at the school. In order to fulfill the tasks of the last term, the Trade Union of the first term has innovated and created. Union members at all levels have completed the tasks and targets set by all levels. Currently, the Congress has completed the tasks, approved the reports to decide on the direction and tasks of the School Trade Union, participated in revising, contributing ideas and drafting the Trade Union at higher levels.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Vice President of the School Union reported on the results of implementing the Union's tasks in 2019 - 2023, achieving certain achievements in a number of activities, through professional tasks; Participation in building legal policies; Inspection, supervision, representation, protection, care for the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees.

Thereby, the School Union has continuously innovated and improved the effectiveness of information, propaganda and education work, contributing to building a strong team of cadres, civil servants and workers. Every year, the Union regularly organizes patriotic emulation movements among cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers through the emulation movements "Good advice, good service", "Building a cultural agency, 8-hour working day with quality and efficiency", ... associated with the implementation of the campaign to build cadres, civil servants, workers and union members who are enthusiastic, actively participate and respond to the movements of the School Union.

Comrade Ta Hoang Tung Bac - Member of the School's Union Executive Committee affirmed the role of the Union in implementing school work, the Union's finances were strictly implemented according to the results of the inspection and supervision for the 2019 - 2023 term, there were no internal complaints, and the report on revenue and expenditure settlement was prepared and reported to superiors in accordance with regulations. During the first term, the Union has always strictly followed the direction of the Command Committee (EC). However, during the implementation process, there were still many difficulties in organizing activities, leading to certain limitations.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Trade Union - Duong Trung Thanh said that the school's trade union executive committee needs to make more efforts in taking care of the lives of workers, such as organizing annual health check-ups for union members, workers and civil servants of the school; promoting the spirit of protecting the legitimate rights of workers; always operating with the motto of loyalty, responsibility, dedication, and exemplary; implementing the campaign to build exemplary cadres, performing well in their tasks and expertise... It is necessary to pay attention to training and improving the skills of running conferences and seminars for school staff because the school is a school that trains cadres at all levels, sectors, and facilities and opens many events and teaching programs, so we must find a way to perfect the organization and training apparatus in the most effective way, working together, unanimously, responsibly, organizing many classes,... only then can the position of the school be affirmed.

At the same time, the new Executive Committee members need to coordinate well with extracurricular activities, maintain and continue to promote autonomy in the above activities.

At the Congress, with a sense of responsibility and democracy, delegates attending the Congress elected 3 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the School of Training and Fostering of Natural Resources and Environment Cadres, term II, 2023 - 2028, and 1 official comrade and 1 alternate comrade to attend the upcoming Trade Union Congress of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
