Voters in localities were informed by representatives of the Provincial People's Council Delegation in Thuan Thanh town about: The expected program and content of the 2025 mid-year regular session of the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026; the implementation of socio-economic development, national defense and security tasks of the province in the first 6 months of 2025; results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations at the regular session at the end of 2024; listening to voters' opinions and recommendations to synthesize and send to competent authorities for consideration and resolution... At the same time, information was provided about a content that voters are currently interested in, which is the policy of merging Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces.
Accordingly, the new Bac Ninh province consists of 33 wards and 66 communes, of which Bac Ninh province is arranged into 20 wards and 21 communes; Bac Giang province is arranged into 13 wards and 45 communes. For Thuan Thanh town, it is arranged into 6 wards including: Thuan Thanh; Tri Qua; Mao Dien; Tram Lo; Song Lieu; Ninh Xa. Currently, there is a plan to select key personnel for communes and wards, and complete the apparatus so that the operations of communes and wards can come into operation immediately after the end of the district-level administrative unit (it is expected that the commune-level administrative unit will come into operation from July 1; the provincial-level administrative unit will come into operation from August 15).

After listening to the information, voters of Mao Dien commune, Thanh Khuong ward highly appreciated the socio-economic development results of the province during the period. At the same time, they made recommendations on a number of contents: Upgrading domestic water supply works, irrigation canals; speeding up construction progress of works in the area; resolving land disputes between households; solutions to resolve overlapping land; paying more attention to environmental protection, policies for meritorious people, lonely elderly people and the restoration and preservation of historical and cultural relics in the area...
The delegation of the Provincial People's Council directly responded and clarified the opinions of voters that were under the responsibility of the locality. For opinions and recommendations that were under the authority of the Central Government and the province, the representative of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council received and summarized the report for the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to consider and forward to the competent agencies for resolution in accordance with the provisions of law.
Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Thi Hang hopes that voters will continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State; supervise the activities of the government, join hands to build Bac Ninh province to develop sustainably, civilized and modern. She requests that the functional agencies of the province and Thuan Thanh town actively participate and closely coordinate in resolving voters' recommendations, especially those under their authority, to avoid the situation of pushing and delaying, affecting the rights and trust of the people.
