(HBĐT) - On August 15, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including Mr. Nguyen Thi Cam Phuong, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Duc Dung, Secretary of the Luong Son District Party Committee; Bui Quang Toan, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Quach Dinh Minh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Lawyers Association; Nguyen The Thao , Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Cu Yen Commune Party Committee; Tran Trung Duc, Director of Viba Banana Cooperative; Duong Thi Giang, teacher of Cao Ram Primary and Secondary School, met with voters of Luong Son district after the 14th Session (regular session in mid-2023), the 17th Provincial People's Council. District voters proposed a number of issues that need attention and resolution: traffic infrastructure in some places is seriously degraded and needs investment; the risk of landslides and rock falls in some localities, although people have reported it, the handling is slow; the environmental pollution from dust and smoke from cement factories and stone quarries; many households have not been granted land use right certificates according to Decision No. 672, and the land area and location are still incorrect; there are policies to support funding for the construction, renovation and upgrading of hamlet cultural houses; invest in the renovation and upgrading of irrigation works and rural electricity systems; speed up the construction progress of traffic works, sidewalks, and urban environmental landscape improvement; promptly resolve difficulties and backlogs in compensation and site clearance for projects in the area...

The delegation of the Provincial People's Council recorded and summarized the opinions and recommendations of voters of Luong Son district.
