Seminar on developing community tourism products for Cham people in Ninh Thuan

On June 11, in Phuoc Dan town (Ninh Phuoc), the Cultural Heritage Conservation Company Limited coordinated with the Bau Truc Pottery Village Community Tourism Management Board to organize a seminar on developing Cham Ninh Thuan community tourism products. The seminar was attended by 20 delegates who are pottery village artisans and Bau Truc village community tourism members.

At the seminar, delegates were discussed and shared by leaders of the Cham Cultural Research Center on the following contents: Factors for building community tourism products, effective ways to exploit local tourism products, forming and developing homestays. Popular forms of community tourism; Current trends in community tourism development. Tourism products and factors that make up tourism products. Characteristics of tourism products; classification of tourism products. Popular tourism products today include: culture, ecology, creative sea; Bau Truc ceramic products to serve the needs of tourism development... In the afternoon of the same day, Ninh Thuan Cultural Heritage Conservation Company Limited organized a Bau Truc pottery art performance contest.

The seminar on developing community tourism products for the Cham people in Ninh Thuan and the pottery art performance competition are practical activities of the Cultural Heritage Conservation Company Limited to celebrate the UNESCO certificate reception ceremony for "Cham pottery art on the List of intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection" and the Ninh Thuan Grape - Wine Festival in 2023.
