Seminar on experience exchange between the Lao Fatherland Front Central Committee on nation building and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee of Nghe An province

On the afternoon of September 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a seminar to exchange experiences with the Central Committee of the Lao Fatherland Front on national construction. Attending the event were comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province. On the Lao side, there was comrade Ot - Phong Sa Van, non-professional Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao Fatherland Front on national construction.

At the discussion, after listening to the leaders of the Lao Fatherland Front Central Committee for National Construction introduce the activities of the delegation in the recent past. On behalf of the delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province Vo Thi Minh Sinh briefly informed the delegation about some outstanding information in the first 9 months of the year as well as the results achieved in the recent past of Nghe An province.

In particular, the breakthrough innovations have created many strong impressions, have great influence, and contributed to motivating and encouraging people of all walks of life to unite and compete to successfully carry out socio-economic tasks, ensuring national defense and security of Nghe An province. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has called for and mobilized more than 482 billion VND to support the construction and repair of new houses for the poor and people in difficult housing circumstances in the period of 2023 - 2025. Especially during storm No. 3, as of September 25, 2024, the whole province has mobilized and donated money and goods worth more than 114 billion VND.

From this relief source, it has timely supported the people of the northern provinces to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also hopes that the Central Committee of the Lao Fatherland Front for National Construction will continue to focus on building and promoting the role of prestigious people among ethnic minorities, typical religious dignitaries, as well as promoting the implementation of digital transformation in the work of the front in a number of areas. From there, the relationship between the Central Committee of the Lao Fatherland Front for National Construction and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province will become increasingly sustainable.
