According to the plan, the event is scheduled to take place from November 14th to 17th, 2026 at Phan Ngoc Hien Square (An Xuyen Ward) and several related locations, on a regional scale. The event is expected to have approximately 500-700 delegates attending the opening ceremony, attract 8,000-10,000 visitors, and feature 350 booths for display and exhibition.

The main activities of the Festival include: Opening and closing ceremonies; multimedia communication and promotion activities; trade exhibitions of the shrimp industry, OCOP products and a Ca Mau Shrimp culinary space; trade and investment promotion forums, conferences and seminars on sustainable development of the shrimp industry, innovation, and application of science and technology ; along with cultural, tourism and experiential activities associated with the unique characteristics of the Ca Mau Cape region.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment will lead and coordinate the implementation of specialized activities related to the shrimp industry, focusing on organizing shrimp industry trade shows and exhibitions; specialized conferences and seminars; introducing and visiting effective shrimp farming models; and other professional activities as planned. This will contribute to promoting the Ca Mau shrimp brand, fostering value chain linkages, and promoting the sustainable development of the province's shrimp industry.
