Rehearsal of the World Police Music Festival 2025 in Vietnam

The 2025 World Police Music Festival in Vietnam will take place on August 9-10 at the pedestrian street area by Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi and Hoan Kiem Theater. This is one of the special activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Day, the 20th anniversary of the National Security Day, contributing to enhancing cultural, artistic and musical exchanges, enhancing mutual understanding of national identity, country, people, work and combat of the Vietnamese People's Public Security Force in particular and the Police of other countries in the world in general.

On August 8, the bands participating in the 2025 World Police Music Festival in Vietnam had a rehearsal at the walking street area by Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi.

The music festival is also an opportunity to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends, demonstrating Vietnam's policy of being a friend, a reliable partner, and a responsible member of the international community. Through the organization of the music festival, the role and position of the Ministry of Public Security in particular and Vietnam in general is affirmed, contributing to enhancing the prestige and role of the Police of countries around the world.

There are 10 bands participating in the festival, of which Vietnam has 2 bands, including the Band of the Ministry of Public Security and the Band of the Ministry of National Defense. 8 bands from the world, including: Art Troupe of the Lao Police; Band of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Civil Defense and Disaster Relief of the Russian Federation; Military Band, Staff of the Siberian Military District, National Guard of the Russian Federation; Drum Band of Japan; Tokyo Police Band, National Police Agency of Japan; Beijing Police Band - China; Military Band of the Gendarmerie Command, Cambodia; Band of the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia.

The bands will perform on the walking street by Hoan Kiem Lake on the morning of August 9 and at the Hoan Kiem Theater on the evening of August 10.

Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam World Police Music Festival 2025 directed the rehearsal.

There are 10 bands participating in the music festival, of which 2 are from Vietnam.

During a meeting with the heads of the participating music groups, Senior General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, affirmed that the Vietnamese people are looking forward to the most exciting performances by the music groups at this music festival. In addition to the performances by the bands, the event also featured the presence of the Motorcycle Escort Force of the Guard Command and the Mobile Police Cavalry Force of the Mobile Police Command.
