At the meeting, General Director of Vietnam News Agency Vu Viet Trang gave an overview of the operation of Vietnam News Agency. On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mua A Son provided an overview of the socio-economic development situation, potentials and strengths of Dien Bien province. At the same time, he sincerely thanked Vietnam News Agency for always accompanying the development of Dien Bien province in the past time and hoped to continue receiving the attention and cooperation of Vietnam News Agency in information and propaganda work on the political , socio-economic, national defense, security, Party building and political system situation. Also at the meeting, Vietnam News Agency introduced a new personnel as Head of Vietnam News Agency Resident Office in Dien Bien province.
