On April 16, 2025, at the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Education and Training held a conference to summarize the Joint Program on "Promoting the value of cultural heritage associated with educational activities and building culture associated with educational activities and building behavioral culture in schools" for the period 2020-2025 and proposed goals to continue implementing activities for the next period.
Comrade Cu Huy Hoan - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training; Comrade Nguyen Hoang Hiep - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism co-chaired the conference.
The two departments highly appreciated the results of the implementation of the cultural and sports fields associated with educational and training activities in the 2020-2025 period, in which the outstanding work is promoting the role of joining hands to protect and promote the value of cultural heritage, organizing training on cultural and sports work associated with learning in schools with good quality.
The two departments agreed to continue implementing the program in the period of 2025 - 2030, including expanding the experiential activity model and promoting the development of physical education and sports in schools. The Department of Education and Training also requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to strengthen the instruction of xoe dance, street dance, and community activities on large stages, aiming to make it an official subject in schools, contributing to the preservation and conservation of the unique cultural heritages of Dien Bien province.
