Comrade Tran Van Ut - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented gifts to the Management Board of Vinh Hoa Pagoda.
On the afternoon of May 9, a delegation of officials from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province led by comrade Tran Van Ut - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province visited and congratulated the Vesak PL.2569 - DL.2025 at the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) of the province and Buddhist establishments in Bac Lieu city including: Bach Lien Pagoda, Vinh Hoa Pagoda and Vinh Duc Pagoda.
At the places he visited, Comrade Tran Van Ut informed about the outstanding results of the province's socio -economic development in the first months of the year. In particular, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee is focusing on directing the resolute and effective arrangement of the two-level administrative units according to the Central Government's policy.
Regarding the work of caring for poor households, the province has completed and handed over 1,758 houses to poor and near-poor households under the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. In particular, the provincial leaders highly appreciated the achievements in social security work of all levels, sectors and organizations, in which the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province and Buddhist establishments have made very positive contributions in many forms such as: supporting housing, giving health insurance cards, giving gifts... to the poor and people in especially difficult circumstances.
The Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee hopes that the Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee and Buddhist establishments will continue to accompany all levels and sectors in implementing social security work; propagandize and mobilize monks, nuns and Buddhists to trust and support the policy of streamlining the administrative apparatus; continue to promote the tradition of living a "good life, good religion" to join hands in building a rich, beautiful and civilized homeland.
On this occasion, comrade Tran Van Ut presented gifts and wished the members of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province and Buddhist establishments, monks, nuns and Buddhists a joyful, warm and peaceful Buddha's Birthday.
