DTO - On May 27, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Provincial Committee coordinated with the Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) to organize a conference to review 2 years of coordination in implementing the Coordination Program No. 10/CTrPH - MTTW - NHCS dated December 23, 2022 between the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the VBSP.

After 2 years of implementing the Coordination Plan No. 05/KHPH-MTTQ-NHCS dated April 24, 2023 between the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Dong Thap Provincial Branch of the Bank for Social Policies, the two units have coordinated to effectively implement Directive No. 40-CT/TW dated November 22, 2014 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over social policy credit (TDCSXH); Conclusion No. 06-KL/TW dated June 10, 2021 of the Secretariat on continuing to implement Directive No. 40-CT/TW of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over TDCSXH, creating a clear change in awareness and action, raising the awareness of cadres, party members and people about the role of TDCSXH...

By April 30, 2025, the total local capital entrusted to the VBSP reached VND 842,921 million, an increase of VND 335,644 million compared to the beginning of 2022; the total policy credit capital reached VND 6,379,703 million, an increase of VND 5,955,885 million compared to the beginning of 2022; The provincial branch of the VBSP has disbursed to 104,378 households with a turnover of VND 4,308,768 million,... The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio -political organizations at all levels in the province are interested in, involved in and promote their high sense of responsibility for social credit activities, coordinate well with the VBSP in implementing policy credit programs; consolidate and improve credit quality and quality of loan capital entrustment activities; timely support for the poor in terms of capital for livelihood creation, essential auxiliary works...

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the results of coordination activities, proposing solutions to remove difficulties in coordination between the two units in propaganda activities, monitoring activities and social criticism to improve the effectiveness of social policy, mobilize resources to support the poor, ensure social security, and supplement capital for social policy...

Concluding the conference, Mr. Dinh Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested the two units to focus on solving difficulties to promote effective coordination, especially in the current period of administrative unit arrangement. The two units continue to effectively implement Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated October 30, 2024 of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on improving the effectiveness of social credit in the new period, considering this an important solution for poverty reduction, job creation, new rural construction and restructuring of the agricultural sector in the locality; Continue to propagate to cadres, party members and people about the position and role of TDCSXH, identify lending to poor households and other policy subjects as one of the key tasks in implementing the socio-economic development plan in the locality... At the same time, research and propose to perfect the social credit policy system in accordance with reality and arrange sufficient resources to implement TDCSXH programs and policies... The two units proactively coordinate and promptly guide the lower-level system to coordinate in performing tasks after completing the arrangement of administrative units to ensure requirements, not to passively affect the borrowing needs of the people...
