Military forces help people clear canals in the fields

The emulation movement of "Skilled mass mobilization" and building "Good mass mobilization units" in the past 5 years has been thoroughly implemented by the City Military Command with many good models and creative methods, achieving many practical results. Notably, it proactively coordinated and advised on the implementation of 10 field trips to do mass mobilization work to help people in remote areas. Thereby, 2,500 working days were mobilized to join hands in building new rural areas: repairing and renewing nearly 20km of rural roads; dredging 10.5km of canals; examining and treating, providing medicine for 1,200 people with a total amount of 300 million VND...

Many activities and models implemented by units need to be replicated, such as: mobilizing 4.8 billion VND to build 89 new houses for the subjects and eliminating 70 temporary and dilapidated houses for households with housing difficulties; 7.5 billion VND to support the program "Tet with love for the army and people", "Green Chung cake for the poor"; nearly 2 billion VND "helping children go to school"; giving gifts to more than 7,500 young people joining the army, worth more than 26.2 billion VND. In addition, the armed forces also donated livelihoods, helped people renovate mixed gardens, repair houses; built national flag roads, lighting lines, etc. The effectiveness of this emulation movement has contributed to strengthening the solidarity and consensus between the city's armed forces officers and soldiers and the local people.

The city's military continues to actively propagate and mobilize the people and cadres and soldiers to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels. In particular, focusing on policies on implementing the Project on rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a model of organizing a two-level local government; implementing the rearrangement and adjustment of the organization of local military agencies. At the same time, proactively preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics; improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
