Talks between Ha Giang Provincial Youth Union and Chau Van Son Communist Youth Union, Yunnan Province (China)

BHG - On the afternoon of May 28, at Yen Bien Luxury Hotel, Ha Giang Provincial Youth Union held a meeting with Chau Van Son Communist Youth Union, Yunnan Province (China) with the theme "Ha Giang - Chau Van Son Youth, steadfast in ideals". Attending the meeting on Ha Giang province's side were comrade Nguyen Hai Duong, Secretary of Ha Giang Provincial Youth Union; leaders of some provincial departments and branches and leaders of Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union. On Chau Van Son Communist Youth Union's side, there was comrade Duong Sy Le, Secretary of Chau Van Son Youth Union, Chairman of Chau Van Son Youth Union.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of Ha Giang Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Hai Duong emphasized: The meeting was organized in the spirit of the Minutes of the meeting signed on October 10, 2016 in Ha Giang province, between the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ha Giang province and the Chau Van Son Communist Youth Union - China. Accordingly, the two sides agreed to identify youth as an important bridge in implementing the common perceptions that the senior leaders of the two localities have reached, thereby enhancing friendly exchanges, learning from each other, and developing together for the common interests of the two countries.

The year 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (1950 - 2025) - an important historical milestone, affirming the lasting friendship between the two countries. The exchange activities between Ha Giang and Chau Van Son youth are practical evidence for the implementation of the joint statement between the two Parties and the two States, signed during the official visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping. Continuing to strengthen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and building a community with a shared future between Vietnam and China is an important political foundation, creating conditions for the young generations of both sides to strengthen their connections, contributing to deepening the friendly relationship in the new period.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Van Son Youth Union, Duong Sy Le, expressed his sincere thanks to the Ha Giang Provincial Youth Union for taking the time to welcome and organize the exchange and cooperation between the two sides. At the same time, he hoped that the Van Son Youth Union and the Ha Giang Provincial Youth Union would increase cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities among youth and teenagers; exchange experiences in building a model of youth union work, a model to support youth in starting a business; bring the friendly exchange relationship between the two sides into depth and bring practical results; research to support youth in the process of digital transformation and application of information technology, etc.
