Binh Phuoc launches Action Month for Children 2025

Currently, Binh Phuoc province has more than 279,000 children, accounting for nearly 26% of the province's population. Of these, 2,804 children are in special circumstances and 8,153 children are at risk of falling into special circumstances. In recent years, the province has achieved many positive results in the work of protecting, caring for andeducating children, such as: 100% of children in special circumstances are cared for; 100% of children under 6 years old are issued health insurance cards; the rate of malnourished children has decreased; the quality of education has been improved; the living and playing environment has been increasingly improved.

However, there are still many difficulties: children drop out of school, have accidents and injuries, especially drowning and abuse; many remote areas still lack playgrounds and facilities to serve children's development needs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh emphasized: "Every official, party member, and citizen needs to raise awareness and take practical actions for children. Every child, regardless of circumstances, has the right to be cared for and develop comprehensively." She also called on social organizations and philanthropists to join hands to support children in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh hopes that children will have a safe and beneficial summer: exercise, review culture, participate in community activities and stay away from unhealthy games.
