Content reflecting on dirty pork and chicken being smuggled into the market is spreading on Facebook.

Accordingly, information is rapidly spreading on Facebook about a chain of stores distributing and retailing pork and chicken, deliberately smuggling poor quality meat products into the market.

The information is said to come from a "former employee" of the distribution chain (belonging to a branch in My Xuyen district, Soc Trang province).

The content of the reflection revolves around a company mixing diseased pork, diseased chicken, and rotten meat, then forcing employees to sell them on the market. In addition, some low-quality meat products were also directed to be butchered, then sold cheaply to people to make sausages, hot dogs, and expired products were removed from the brand to be sold outside...

Talking to SGGP Newspaper, Mr. N. (the person who posted the reflection on Facebook) said: On the morning of the same day, the authorities of Soc Trang province invited me to work. The content of the discussion revolved around the content that I reflected, in order to have a basis to verify and clarify the incident.

According to the leader of the Market Management Department of Soc Trang province, the market management force has grasped the information that is spreading on social networks. The unit is currently coordinating with relevant authorities to verify.

Mr. Lam Minh Hoang, Head of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Soc Trang province, said: This afternoon, the Department will coordinate with economic security forces, market management... to conduct inspections and verifications at distribution stores as reported.
