The program aims to pay tribute to the past - create the future, calling for the community's cooperation to bring children in difficult circumstances, orphans, children of families with meritorious services, families with revolutionary contributions in Ben Tre practical gifts, timely encouragement in both material and spiritual terms, helping them to firmly step on the path of learning, nurturing their dreams.
The program has raised a total value of scholarships and gifts of VND 2,845 billion. Of which, 225 children received scholarships (worth VND 3 million/scholarship); 100 children received bicycles and gifts (worth VND 2 million/scholarship); 40 children who are children and grandchildren of families with revolutionary contributions received online English scholarships (worth VND 6 million/scholarship). Along with that, 6 charity houses will be given to 6 families with children from poor and near-poor households in Ben Tre province (worth VND 60 million/house); 01 bridge (worth VND 60 million); 70 children of SOS Children's Village in Ben Tre will be given gifts including milk, supplements, candy, handheld computers, school bags, notebooks, daily food, etc.
In particular, 400 children and 100 adults from families with revolutionary contributions, parents of children from poor households, near-poor households, and families in difficult circumstances who attended the program were also given free medical examinations. There were 10 cases after eye examinations with doctor's indications that they may receive support for cataract surgery and travel, accommodation, and follow-up examination expenses in Ho Chi Minh City.
The program has received support and companionship from the following units: Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade; Pharmacity Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company; Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development; Vinamilk Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company; Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade Remittance Company Limited; AIA Vietnam; Hamia Online Training and Technology Joint Stock Company; MB Securities Joint Stock Company; Vietnam Association for Promoting Education; My Village Volunteer Group; Saigon Children's Charity; Dream Incubation Association, etc., along with many units, organizations, businesses, collectives and individuals.

Ms. Le Tuyet Mai, Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee shared: "Through this program, we not only express our deep gratitude to the heroic past of the nation, but also wish to light up the connecting thread between the past, present and future. The noble sacrifices of our ancestors in the past are the solid foundation for today's young generation to live in peace, to study and nurture their dreams, to become useful citizens, contributing to building a strong and prosperous country."
