Authorities from the Ministry of Public Security and the Dak Lak Provincial Police will continue to aggressively pursue the remaining suspects and investigate the case thoroughly.
On the same day, June 13th, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, led by the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union and President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association, Nguyen Minh Triet, presented and posthumously awarded the "Brave Youth" badge to five police officers and soldiers who died or were injured in the incident.
Previously, on June 12th, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed Decision No. 684/QD/TTg awarding the "Homeland's Recognition" certificate to 4 martyrs from the Ministry of Public Security and 2 martyrs from Dak Lak province who were officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives on June 11th, 2023, in the incident where individuals used guns to attack the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province.
General To Lam, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Public Security, signed a decision to posthumously promote four police officers who died in the attack on the Ea Ktur commune police station in Dak Lak province. The Ministry of Public Security also provided financial support of 100 million VND per family to the four deceased officers and 50 million VND per person to the two police officers injured while on duty.
