Ho Chi Minh City launched a peak emulation campaign "Determination to accelerate, double productivity"

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just launched a high-level emulation campaign "Determination to accelerate, double productivity" to welcome the 1st City Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

The competition starts from early October 2025, ends on December 31 and is divided into 2 phases.

In which, in phase 1 - "Determination to accelerate the completion of typical works and tasks", Ho Chi Minh City continues to focus on effectively implementing 5 emulation contents according to Plan No. 01/KH-UBND dated July 1, 2025 of the City People's Committee on the peak emulation "100 days of streamlined - lean - strong - efficient, effective and efficient operations", welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 1st City Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030).

Ho Chi Minh City launches peak emulation campaign — The groundbreaking ceremony of the Women's Cultural House Construction Project - Facility 1 took place on October 3.

Each agency, unit, and locality identifies at least one key project, has solutions to speed up construction progress, or at least one model, typical work to welcome the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; the 1st City Patriotic Emulation Congress, the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

Phase 2 - "Accelerating, breaking through - successfully completing the socio -economic development goals and tasks in 2025 and the 2021 - 2025 period", Ho Chi Minh City continues to strive to successfully implement the socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2025 and the 5-year plan (2020 - 2025), especially focusing resources, striving to achieve the disbursement rate of public investment capital in 2025 reaching 95% according to the assigned plan.

Also during this period, strive to complete typical emulation programs, works and projects at the city level according to Plan No. 3818/KH-UBND of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; achieve 90% of typical emulation programs, works and projects completed on schedule, with signs and city-level recognition.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee will consider awarding certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding, typical and outstanding achievements, with creative models and solutions effectively applied in implementing socio-economic development tasks in 2025, implementing typical and key emulation programs, works and projects of the city on the occasion of summarizing the emulation period.

In phase 1, Ho Chi Minh City focuses resources to start construction on schedule for 9 projects:

- City Children's Palace Construction Project;

- Project to expand the connecting road of Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (section from An Phu intersection to Ring Road 2);

- Dredging project of Da Do canal (from Nguyen Hoang street to Saigon river);

- Phu Tho Racecourse Park Construction Project - entertainment area for youth;

- New Construction Project of Women's Cultural House - Facility 1;

- Tan Chanh Hiep Park Construction Project (Tan Chanh Hiep fish pond area);

- Project to build an outdoor sports center in Ward 10, old District 6;

- Project to restore and embellish the city-level architectural and artistic relic of Binh Tho Communal House;

- Project to restore and embellish the city-level architectural and artistic relic Dinh Linh Tay.

Ho Chi Minh City also strives to complete two projects on schedule:

- New Construction Project of Cu Chi Regional General Hospital;
