Many workers braved the sun and cycled to the address on the voucher to receive charity gifts, but then left disappointed when they realized they had been scammed.

After receiving the information, Binh Dong Ward Police checked and determined that the address on the voucher was 15XX Pham The Hien Street, Binh Dong Ward. The Police also worked with the homeowner and learned that this address does not have an Ai Loan company and has never issued or sold gift vouchers.

To prevent bad groups from taking advantage of people's trust and causing damage, Binh Dong Ward Police Department would like to request those who have received or purchased charity gift vouchers to come to the Ward Police Department to coordinate in providing information and serving the handling.

Previously, Tin Tuc and Dan Toc Newspaper published an article "Beware of the scam of giving away charity gift vouchers", in the area of Pham The Hien Street, Binh Dong Ward ( Ho Chi Minh City), many people were tricked into going to an address to receive charity gifts on the occasion of October 20.

The subjects of gift voucher distribution include specific time and location.

According to Ms. TKN, the homeowner and representative of KL LLC, on the morning of October 20, many people holding white and blue coupons came to the company to receive gifts. However, the company did not organize any gift distribution program. “Seeing their pity, we refunded the money they lost and collected many fake coupons,” Ms. N said.

She added that many people said they bought this ticket for 20,000 VND/ticket. “Seeing many uncles and aunts selling lottery tickets, we felt sorry for them so we compensated them for the money they lost and took back the tickets. Up to now, the company has collected quite a lot of tickets,” Ms. N added.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Xuan, a resident living nearby, said: "Since noon, many people have come to ask me about the address on the ticket. But because many people had come to ask before and found out it was a scam, I told them to go back to save effort. Seeing many uncles and aunts brave the sun to come to receive gifts but in the end had to go home empty-handed, I really feel sorry."
