According to Dr. Vo Tri Thanh, Director of the Institute for Strategic Brand and Competition Research, the Autumn Fair 2025 is a very important program, which can be considered a long-term highlight in the process of national economic integration and development. This is not just about connecting domestic trade, but also about bringing Vietnam to the world through products, trade and investment activities, and bringing the world to Vietnam. The ambitious goals and large-scale organization reflect a strategic vision in building a trade promotion space with depth and strong influence.
“The world is undergoing a dramatic transformation, presenting both challenges and difficulties, but also many new opportunities. The key is how we adapt our trade promotion activities. Technology, especially digital technology , plays a crucial role, but trade exhibitions and business support activities remain an irreplaceable pillar. These are the ‘foundations’ that enable businesses to expand their cooperation networks, access international markets, and increase their competitiveness,” said Dr. Vo Tri Thanh.

Dr. Vo Tri Thanh, Director of the Institute for Brand and Competition Strategy Research, assessed the Autumn Fair 2025 as a "foundation" for businesses to expand their cooperation networks, access international markets, and increase their competitiveness.
Dr. Vo Tri Thanh emphasized that this Autumn Fair holds special significance as it clearly demonstrates the connection between Vietnamese people, products, and businesses with the world , while affirming the intrinsic value of the domestic market.
From a macroeconomic perspective, according to this expert, the immediate challenge is to invest more heavily, especially in attracting high-quality capital from both domestic and international sources. Along with investment, stimulating "smart" consumer demand is also a major driver for achieving rapid and sustainable growth. By linking these specific goals to trade promotion programs, such as the Autumn Fair, we will have a crucial test to assess organizational effectiveness, networking capabilities, and the ability to create tangible value.
“I believe this will be an opportunity to comprehensively assess the quality of trade promotion activities, thereby drawing practical lessons to improve promotion and investment attraction activities in both the short and long term. If done well, the Autumn Fair will become a very significant event for the period 2026-2030, contributing to raising Vietnam's position and standing on the international investment and trade map,” said Dr. Vo Tri Thanh.
This expert assessed that the special feature of this year's Autumn Fair is that we now have a truly world-class infrastructure for organizing trade fairs and exhibitions, something Vietnam had never had before. The current National Exhibition Center is considered among the top in the region and the world, creating favorable conditions for organizing large-scale, professional events. This is an important foundation for building the national image, promoting Vietnamese brands, and attracting high-quality investment capital.

The Autumn Fair 2025 is a "golden opportunity" for businesses to affirm their quality and reputation, while expanding their network of partners.
With its excellent and modern infrastructure, the trade fair goes beyond simply showcasing products or services; more importantly, it creates a space for businesses to promote their supply capabilities, expand cooperation, and learn from each other. The fair is a hub for information, knowledge, development trends, and market access methods.
In addition, there will be numerous specialized workshops to enhance investment and trade promotion activities. Following the event, concrete figures regarding business contracts, memorandums of understanding, and investment opportunities will serve as a true measure of the effectiveness of the promotion.
“I also understand that the exhibition center's booking schedule is fully booked until the end of 2026. This shows that Vietnam possesses a sufficiently strong infrastructure to become a destination for international-level trade fairs and exhibitions. Finally, what I want to emphasize is that this is not just a story about products or businesses. This is a story about national strength, the ability to integrate, and Vietnam's economic position. The Autumn Fair has many elements, linked to cultural identity, creativity, and the aspiration to affirm the nation's image on the international stage. The first steps may still have many areas that need improvement, but it is important that we have a grand vision, coupled with tangible results: businesses promoting their products, selling goods, signing contracts, attracting investment, and enhancing competitiveness,” said Dr. Vo Tri Thanh.
Dr. Vo Tri Thanh noted that a significant point is that the Autumn Fair 2025 is designed with a long-term vision, linked to the trade promotion strategy for the next five years. This means that the event is not just about organizing a trade fair, but also about creating a long-term networking platform, helping Vietnamese businesses enhance their integration capabilities and adapt to the rapidly changing global context.
The Autumn Fair is a crucial opportunity for the business community to transform, particularly in terms of brand building mindset, market approach, and collaborative networking. When participating in a large-scale trade promotion event, businesses need to proactively promote their products professionally, tell their brand story convincingly, and demonstrate their supply capabilities clearly. This is also a time for businesses to learn how to connect, expand partnerships, and build a more systematic market network with partners.
“I expect that after trade fairs like this, businesses will change their business and trade mindset towards a more systematic, long-term, and professional approach. Opportunities lie not only in immediate orders but also in the ability to position brands, increase value, and affirm their identity in the international market. When entering the big arena, businesses must have the capacity to organize, approach, negotiate, and promote in accordance with global standards,” emphasized Dr. Vo Tri Thanh.
He added that participating in trade fairs also helps businesses improve their adaptability and competitiveness. Businesses have the opportunity to observe and learn from successful models, grasp consumer trends, and understand market demands. By effectively utilizing these opportunities, businesses will develop more strongly, proactively, and confidently on the path to integration. Certainly, large-scale trade promotion events like the Autumn Fair will become a real impetus, helping Vietnamese businesses rise through their own internal strengths, clear strategies, and concrete actions. This is an opportunity to expand markets, build brands, and gradually enhance the position of Vietnamese businesses in the global value chain.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ha Vu Son, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, assessed that the Autumn Fair 2025 is not only a regular trade promotion task but also a "golden opportunity" for Can Tho businesses to affirm their quality and reputation, while expanding their network of partners and distribution channels to the Northern market.
The 2025 Autumn Fair is expected to be a gathering place for the finest products from various regions, creating a space for exchange and connection between businesses, investors, and consumers. According to the Department of Industry and Trade's guidelines, participating units and businesses need to focus on implementing three strategic tasks to achieve the highest effectiveness.
“Bringing more than 100 specialty products, OCOP products, and representative products to participate in the 2025 Autumn Fair in Hanoi is a key step in Can Tho City's trade promotion program, contributing to spreading the value and affirming the brand of “Can Tho Specialties” in the national market,” said Mr. Ha Vu Son.
From a business perspective, Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong, Deputy General Director of Vinphaco, stated that the company views the Autumn Fair 2025 as a rare opportunity to promote its brand, expand its market, and showcase the research and production capabilities of Vietnamese businesses.
“As a directly participating business, we sincerely hope that the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Organizing Committee will continue to promote the fair through national media platforms to widely disseminate the value and scale of the event. Simultaneously, it is necessary to strengthen business networking activities, organize seminars, cooperation forums, and cultural and artistic exchanges to attract a large number of visitors, investors, and consumers from both domestic and international markets.”
Another important point is that after the fair, management agencies should maintain regular trade promotion mechanisms, support businesses in continuing to connect and expand markets, and turn cooperation opportunities from the fair into tangible results,” said Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong.
