According to Dr. Vo Tri Thanh, Director of the Institute for Brand and Competitiveness Strategy Research, the 2025 Autumn Fair is a very important program, which can be seen as a long-term highlight in the process of national economic integration and development. This is not only a story of connecting domestic trade, but also bringing Vietnam to the world through products, trade and investment activities, and bringing the world to Vietnam. The ambitious goal and large scale of the organization reflect the strategic vision in building a trade promotion space with depth and strong influence.

“The world context is changing rapidly, and in addition to challenges and difficulties, it also opens up many new opportunities. The important thing is how we must change the way we organize trade promotion to adapt. Technology, especially digital technology , plays a key role, but exhibition activities and business support are always an irreplaceable pillar. This is the “fulcrum” for businesses to expand their cooperation network, access international markets and increase competitiveness,” said Dr. Vo Tri Thanh.

Dr. Vo Tri Thanh, Director of the Institute for Brand Strategy and Competitiveness Research, assessed the 2025 Autumn Fair as a "fulcrum" for businesses to expand their cooperation networks, access international markets and increase competitiveness.

Dr. Vo Tri Thanh emphasized that this Autumn Fair has special significance as it clearly demonstrates the connection between Vietnamese people, products and businesses with the world , while affirming the intrinsic value of the domestic market.

From a macro perspective, according to this expert, the immediate story is that we must invest more strongly, especially in attracting high-quality capital flows from both domestic and international sources. Along with investment, stimulating "smart" consumption is also a great driving force to achieve rapid and sustainable growth. When linking these specific goals with trade promotion programs, typically the Autumn Fair, we will have an important test to test organizational effectiveness, connectivity capacity and the ability to create real value.

“I believe that this will be an opportunity to comprehensively evaluate the quality of trade promotion activities, thereby drawing practical lessons to improve promotion activities and call for investment in both the short and long term. If done well, the Autumn Fair will become a very meaningful event for the 2026 - 2030 period, contributing to raising the position and status of Vietnam on the international investment and trade map,” said Dr. Vo Tri Thanh.

This expert assessed that the special point of this year's Autumn Fair is that we have a truly international-scale fair and exhibition infrastructure, something that Vietnam has never had before. The National Exhibition Fair Center is currently considered to be among the top in the region and the world, creating favorable conditions for organizing large-scale, professional events. This is an important foundation for building the national image, promoting the Vietnamese brand and attracting high-quality investment capital flows.

The 2025 Autumn Fair is a "golden opportunity" for businesses to affirm their quality and reputation, while expanding their network of partners.

With good and modern infrastructure, the Fair does not stop at introducing products or services; more importantly, it creates a space for businesses to promote their supply capacity, expand cooperation and learn from each other. The Fair is a place where information, knowledge, development trends and market approaches converge.

In addition, there will be many specialized seminars to help improve investment and trade promotion activities. After the event, specific numbers of business contracts, memorandums of understanding or investment opportunities will be the real measure of promotion effectiveness.

“I also know that the booking schedule at the Exhibition Center is full until the end of 2026. This shows that Vietnam has a strong enough infrastructure to become a destination for international fairs and exhibitions. Finally, what I want to emphasize is that this is not just a story about products or businesses. This is a story about national strength, integration capacity and economic position of Vietnam. The Autumn Fair has many elements, associated with cultural identity, creativity and the desire to affirm the national image in the international arena. The first steps may still have many points to be completed, but the important thing is that we must have a big vision, along with real results: Businesses can promote products, sell goods, sign contracts, attract investment and improve competitiveness,” said Dr. Vo Tri Thanh.

Dr. Vo Tri Thanh acknowledged that a notable point is that the Autumn Fair 2025 is designed with a long-term vision, linked to the trade promotion strategy for the next 5 years. That means the event does not stop at organizing a fair but also creates a long-term connection platform, helping Vietnamese businesses improve their integration capacity and adapt to the rapidly changing global context.

The Autumn Fair is a very important occasion for the business community to transform, especially in terms of brand building thinking, market approach and cooperation connection. When participating in a large-scale trade promotion event, businesses need to proactively promote their products professionally, tell their brand story convincingly and demonstrate their supply capacity clearly. This is also the time for businesses to learn how to connect, expand cooperation and build a more systematic market network with partners.

“I hope that after fairs like this, businesses will change their business and trade thinking in a more systematic, long-term and professional way. Opportunities lie not only in immediate orders but also in the ability to position the brand, increase value and affirm identity in the international market. When entering the big playground, businesses must have the capacity to organize, approach, negotiate and promote in accordance with global standards,” Dr. Vo Tri Thanh emphasized.

He added that participating in fairs also helps businesses improve their adaptability and competitiveness. Businesses have the opportunity to observe and learn from successful models, grasp consumer trends, and understand market requirements. When taking advantage of these opportunities, businesses will develop more strongly, be more proactive and more confident on the path of integration. Certainly, large-scale trade promotion events such as the Autumn Fair will become a real boost, helping Vietnamese businesses rise up with internal strength, clear strategies and practical actions. This is an opportunity to expand the market, build brands and gradually improve the position of Vietnamese businesses in the global value chain.

Mr. Ha Vu Son, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, assessed that the 2025 Autumn Fair is not only a normal trade promotion task but also a "golden opportunity" for Can Tho enterprises to affirm their quality and reputation, while expanding their network of partners and distribution channels to the Northern market.

The 2025 Autumn Fair is expected to be a place where the best products from different regions converge, creating a space for exchange and connection between businesses, investors and consumers. According to the direction of the Department of Industry and Trade, participating units and businesses need to focus on implementing three strategic task groups to achieve the highest efficiency.

“Bringing more than 100 specialty, OCOP and typical products to participate in the 2025 Autumn Fair in Hanoi is a key step in the trade promotion program of Can Tho City, contributing to spreading the value and affirming the brand "Can Tho Specialties" in the national market", said Mr. Ha Vu Son.

From a business perspective, Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong, Deputy General Director of Vinphaco, said that businesses see the 2025 Autumn Fair as a rare opportunity to promote their brands, expand their markets, and introduce the research and production capabilities of Vietnamese businesses.

“As a direct participating enterprise, we hope that the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Organizing Committee will continue to promote the communication and promotion of the fair on national media platforms, to widely spread the value and scale of the event. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen business connection activities, organize seminars, cooperation forums, and cultural and artistic exchanges to attract a large number of visitors, investors, and consumers at home and abroad.

Another important thing is that after the fair, management agencies should maintain a regular trade promotion mechanism, support businesses to continue connecting, expand markets, and turn cooperation opportunities in the fair into real results," said Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong.
