Mr. Le Phuoc Tanh - member of Tan Thuan Association (Tan Thuan Tay Commune, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province) - said that since the beginning of the flood season, the association's fishing net dismantling tourist spot has been operating regularly, welcoming many tourists to visit and directly catch fish on the Tien River.

“This is a community tourism model that has been of interest to the locality and developed over the past many years. On average, every 4-6 weeks, the piles can be removed and the fish can be harvested. Each small pile of piles can harvest about 15-20kg of fish such as silver carp, oc fish, he fish, linh fish, catfish, and long shrimp.

When there is a group of customers "ordering", we will arrange and take turns unloading each point to ensure there are plenty of fish," said Mr. Tanh.

Visitors experience "catching oysters and finding pearls" at Hoang Hao Ecological Garden, Tam Nong district

Hoang Hao Ecotourism Garden, Tam Nong District, is an attractive destination in Dong Thap. Especially, during the flood season, visitors have more interesting experiences. Coming here, visitors can fish by themselves, pick sesbania flowers, water lilies... and then sit and wait for delicious food in the middle of the windy countryside.

Picking wild water mimosa flowers to eat fresh with linh fish or stir-fried with seaweed shrimp to eat on the spot will definitely make visitors remember the taste of the West.

Experiencing rice field bathing in the flood season at Go Thap Eco-tourism Area is also the choice of many families with young children. This is one of the eco-tourism spots located in the lotus field tourist complex in My Hoa Commune, Thap Muoi District.

Tourists sit in the middle of the flooded rice fields to enjoy the breeze, while food is delivered to their doorstep by bicycle on 1m wide wooden bridges.

In the season of rising water, lotus and water lilies grow "white in the fields", visitors coming here can experience many activities such as rowing a boat to check-in the lotus fields, picking water lilies, bathing in the fields, and enjoying many local rustic dishes.
