Awarding 28 prizes for the Campaign to create and promote literary and artistic works to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification

On the afternoon of July 7, the Tay Ninh Provincial Literature and Arts Association held a ceremony to summarize and award the Campaign to create and promote literary and artistic works to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Attending the event was Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department - Mai Dang Thao Nguyen.

From January 13 to March 31, 2025, the Organizing Committee of the Campaign received 467 works from 178 authors inside and outside the province in diverse fields such as literature, music , theater, photography, fine arts, etc.

Most of the works praise the homeland, the country, the tradition of "brave and resilient" struggle of the army and people of the province in the resistance war against the US to save the country, the aspiration to rise up and build a rich and beautiful homeland; many works have highlighted the achievements of the province after 50 years of construction and development.

Chairman of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts - Nguyen Tan Quoc affirmed: "The campaign to create and promote literary and artistic works to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) recognizes the achievements of authors with experience and life experience, research capital in specific fields; these are bright spots that contribute to motivating and encouraging creative work and are the driving force for the young generation to have more good works for the province's literature and arts".

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee honored and awarded 28 outstanding works in the Campaign to create and promote literary and artistic works to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), including 5 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 5 C prizes, 12 Encouragement prizes, and 1 Promotion prize.

Composer Diep Vam Co, who won the A prize with the song "50 years - A memory of Long An ", emotionally shared that the Campaign is a useful and meaningful artistic playground; not only an opportunity for artists to express their gratitude to the heroic past, but also an opportunity for generations of composers to work together, exchange and learn from each other.

Musician Nguyen Thanh Hai proudly expressed that this is not only a competition but also an opportunity to pay tribute to those who have fallen, reminding us of a heroic time of the nation. Through music, he wants to contribute to evoking pride and gratitude in everyone – especially the younger generation./.
