Dien Bien TV - On the morning of April 23, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee held a press briefing for April and outlined propaganda directions for May 2025.

Comrade Ngon Ngoc Khue, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, outlined the direction of propaganda in the coming period.

In April 2025, provincial and central press agencies based in the province closely followed the guidelines and effectively carried out propaganda work on current affairs and political issues of the province; tasks related to socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security. The content of the propaganda reflected the diverse aspects of the province's leadership and management in implementing political tasks at the local level; the information quality was in-depth and diverse in form, fully meeting the public's information needs.

At the conference, leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command provided information on the flag-raising ceremony and inauguration of the A Pa Chai flagpole in Sin Thau commune, Muong Nha district. Delegates requested that the Provincial Border Guard Command develop a plan and create favorable conditions for reporters from central and local media outlets to cover the ceremony.

Representatives from the Dien Bien District People's Committee held discussions to clarify the issues raised in the press.

The delegates also focused on discussing and requesting the leaders of the Dien Bien Phu City People's Committee, Dien Bien District, and the Department of Construction to clarify several issues of concern and reported by the press, such as: the current state of the provincial stadium and surrounding roads being deeply flooded after heavy rain; the issue of illegally constructed markets on more than 2,500 square meters of rice paddy land; the issue of construction projects affecting the canal system; and the issue of air pollution from a carpentry workshop operating in the middle of a residential area, seriously affecting the lives of some households.

Regarding the propaganda orientation for May 2025, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requested that media agencies focus on disseminating information about: the results of implementing the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term; the results of the 11th Plenum of the Central Committee of the Party, 13th term; and the implementation of Conclusions No. 137 and No. 138 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the plan for rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a two-tiered local government organizational model.

The plan includes restructuring and streamlining the Vietnam Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and mass associations; and preparing for the Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, and the 14th National Congress of the Party.
