Awarding of Duc Thanh Literature and Arts Prize

BTO-On the afternoon of December 19, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Literature and Arts Association (VHNT) held the award ceremony of the 6th Duc Thanh Literature and Arts Award of Binh Thuan province in 2023.

Attending the event were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh; leaders of departments, branches and award-winning authors.

Speaking at the award closing ceremony, Mr. Dang Le The Phi - Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association said: This is the 6th time Binh Thuan province has selected and awarded the Duc Thanh Literature and Arts Award (held every 5 years), to honor artists and those who have a lot of passion for creative work and literary and artistic creation in the province, demonstrated through the value and quality of each type of work that has been introduced, published and announced during the period from 2017-2023.

This year, the Duc Thanh Literature and Arts Award has 90 authors submitting 96 works. The works proposed for awards are those that have been selected, edited, announced, staged and published by prestigious organizations inside and outside the province, through professional performances, broadcasts, exhibitions or printing and distribution... Among them, many works have been highly appreciated and awarded by the Central Specialized Arts Councils.

The 31 works recommended for awards by the final round Art Council reflect the investment of artists as well as the artistic quality of the works over the past 5 years.

*Mr. Tran Dinh Nguyen - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises awarded the C prize*

*Mr. Vo Thanh Huy - Deputy Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the C prize*

Of the 31 works by 31 authors nominated for awards, there are: Prose: 1 A prize, 2 B prizes and 3 C prizes; Poetry: 2 B prizes, 3 C prizes; Fine Arts: 1 A prize, 2 B prizes and 3 C prizes; Photography: 1 A prize, 2 B prizes and 3 C prizes; Music: 1 A prize, 2 B prizes and 3 C prizes; Theater: 1 B prize; Dance: 1 C prize.
