Representatives of the Ca Mau Province Voluntary Charity Association gave rice to the poor, lonely elderly people, lottery ticket sellers, and freelance workers in difficult circumstances.

The gifts were given to the poor, the elderly , the sick, lottery ticket sellers, freelance workers... in the area. The total value of the gifts was over 9 million VND, supported by the Zero-VND Store Group and the Tan Thanh Ward Folk Dance Team. This is not only practical material support, but the program also brings great spiritual encouragement, helping the disadvantaged to be more confident in overcoming adversity and connecting more with the community.

Receiving the meaningful gifts, Ms. Ta Thi Nhanh (Hamlet 4, Tan Thanh Ward) was moved: “Although the gifts are not of great value, they are very precious to us. I feel warm when society cares and shares with me.”

Not only providing practical material assistance, the program also provides great spiritual encouragement, helping disadvantaged people gain more confidence in overcoming adversity and connecting more closely with the community.

Sharing the same sentiment, Ms. To Ngoc Chuoi (Hamlet 10, Tan Thanh Ward) confided: “In difficult circumstances and poor health, I am very happy to receive rice and clothes today. This is a source of encouragement to help me worry less in the coming days.”

It can be seen that the presence of the Zero-dong Store and the free gift giving activities have become vivid evidence of the spirit of “helping each other” of the Vietnamese people. These simple actions contribute to strengthening the great solidarity, creating a strong bond in the community, especially for families with many difficulties.

In the context of many households still struggling to make ends meet, especially the poor, supporting rice, clothes and essential necessities is of great value. The program not only helps people reduce the burden of making a living but also gives them more confidence and determination to strive to rise up. At the same time, this is also a call for the community to join hands to take care of social security.

Poor people come to choose clothes.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Ms. Truong Ngoc Vung, President of the Ca Mau Province Voluntary Charity Association, emphasized: “The zero-dong store is a bridge between kind hearts and the poor, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing and mutual love. The association will continue to mobilize donors and benefactors to maintain regular volunteer activities and provide better care for people in need.”

Giving free gifts on the occasion of National Day September 2 is not only a charitable gesture, but also a humane message: Celebrating Independence Day is not only to remind people of national pride, but also an opportunity for everyone to turn to each other, spread love, and together build a more just, humane and civilized society.
