Giving money to support housing construction for poor households

Representatives of Thanh Phuoc commune leaders and Ms. Lam Thi Bich Thao received support money from the Abbot of Tan Linh Pagoda on April 16, 2025.

Mr. Truong Van Ri Anh and Lam Thi Bich Thao have two young children and are in difficult housing situations. They make a living by working as daily wage laborers.

Implementing the policy of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Phuoc commune and the commune's organizations have actively mobilized benefactors and sponsors to contribute support. In 2024, the commune mobilized to build 16 charity houses; in the first months of 2025, mobilized 5 houses. The total support value is 1.18 billion VND.

Vice Chairman of Thanh Phuoc Commune People's Committee Huynh Van Gui said that according to the plan, by the end of 2025, the commune will mobilize to build and give 6 more charity houses to poor households.
