At the international conference on intelligent information technology (ICIIT 2025, taking place from February 20-23, 2025 at Greenwich Vietnam - Hanoi campus), Mr. Nguyen Nhut Tan - Director of Greenwich Vietnam emphasized the importance of information technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI) which is strongly influencing the development of businesses and countries. In addition, ICIIT 2025 is a timely event, in line with technology trends and the orientation of specialized training in information technology and artificial intelligence of Greenwich Vietnam.
The conference took place from February 20 to February 23 with 7 discussion sessions revolving around diverse topics from applications of intelligent information technology such as: models and calculations in machine learning; new generation artificial intelligence and applications in engineering; digital image analysis and processing methods; image recognition and detection technology; modern information theory and application technology; modern information systems and artificial intelligence applications; image processing, security detection and application technology.
The conference has 3 main speakers who are world-leading technology professors with profound influence in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence from the University of Technology Sydney (Australia), Nirma University (India), KAUST University (Saudi Arabia) and 4 guest speakers from the University of National and World Economics (Bulgaria); National Defense University of Malaysia (Malaysia), Xiamen University (China), University of the District of Columbia (USA).
At the plenary session, speakers discussed “hot” technology topics that many scholars are interested in. Prof. Bogdan Gabrys emphasized the urgency of autonomous AI systems in the face of the rapid increase in digital content and information, and emphasized the importance of humans in improving the results of human-machine interactions and orienting the direction in which autonomous AI systems will develop.
Prof. Sudeep Tanwar predicted 5 major trends in Blockchain applications in 2025; especially emphasizing the combination of Blockchain and AI in information security, optimizing spectrum management and automated network operations. Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini emphasized the importance of wireless communications in achieving the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, and proposed solutions to connect 3 billion people in unconnected areas with 6G and high-altitude base stations (HAPS).
The International Conference on Intelligent Information Technology, held annually since 2015, brings together professors, researchers and pioneers in the field of information technology worldwide. It is a conference co-organized by the University of Greenwich Vietnam, FPT Corporation and the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES), with support from Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City, Foshan University (China), Guangdong High Performance Computing Association and the College of Electrical - Electronic Engineering & Computer Science (EECS), National Taipei University of Technology.
