Implementing emulation and reward work in 2024

On the afternoon of April 9, the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council held a conference to summarize the emulation and reward work in 2023 and deploy directions and tasks for 2024. Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council chaired the conference. Also attending were members of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council.

In 2023, the emulation and reward work of the province will be carried out in conjunction with the implementation of the annual working theme of the Provincial Party Executive Committee "Maintaining discipline, enhancing responsibility, innovation, creativity, and real efficiency", continuing to promote the implementation of patriotic emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister , thereby creating a vibrant and widespread emulation atmosphere to achieve achievements to celebrate major events and anniversaries of the country and the province.

The emulation and reward work of the province has always received the direct and close attention of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the efforts of all levels, sectors and people in the province, so there have been many innovations, creating strong changes in the organization and implementation of emulation movements and reward work. The emulation movements have been widely and effectively deployed to the grassroots with many practical and specific forms and measures; propagating and mobilizing people to actively participate and regularly urging, checking and evaluating the results of the movement implementation.

Through emulation movements, we have created high consensus among all classes of people, cadres and party members, as well as mobilized resources and the combined strength of the whole society to successfully carry out socio -economic development tasks, ensure national defense and security and solve social issues of concern.

Along with that, the work of discovering, praising and replicating typical advanced collectives and individuals, good people and good deeds has been implemented synchronously, with new models, creative and effective ways of doing things, thereby creating a spreading effect in agencies, units and localities, promoting patriotic emulation movements to continue to develop. The work of commendation has become routine and achieved practical results.

In 2023, the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council advised the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Prime Minister a proposal to the President to posthumously award the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to 2 mothers. Proposed the Prime Minister and the President to reward 39 collectives and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation movements; advised the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to award the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee to 127 collectives; awarded the title "Excellent Labor Collective" to 205 collectives; awarded the title "Provincial Emulation Fighter" to 19 individuals and awarded Certificates of Merit to 795 collectives and 1,435 individuals with outstanding achievements in the province's emulation movements.

Discussing at the conference, delegates clarified the achieved results, proposed recommendations and solutions to improve the quality of emulation and reward work in the coming time. These solutions include effectively implementing the emulation movement to celebrate the 55th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Ninh Binh, honoring 65 advanced models following Uncle Ho's teachings; discovering, nurturing and nurturing excellent factors; ensuring that rewards are given to the right people and the right achievements; rewards go hand in hand with promoting propaganda and replicating advanced models...

Concluding the conference, comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council emphasized the outstanding results in the emulation and reward work in 2023, and affirmed that the emulation movement has closely followed, accompanied, promoted the completion of tasks, created a vibrant emulation atmosphere, consensus, unity among all levels, sectors, localities, and people, contributing significantly to Ninh Binh having a successful year of overcoming difficulties.

Discussing and clarifying difficulties and obstacles as well as pointing out limitations in emulation and reward work in recent times, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council requested to focus on overcoming them, in which the heads of agencies, units and localities must really pay attention to directing and have positive solutions to further promote emulation movements; focusing on building, selecting and honoring typical examples in a timely manner.

Regarding the tasks in 2024, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council Pham Quang Ngoc requested all levels and sectors to focus on promoting propaganda and dissemination of the Law on Emulation and Reward; consider restructuring the Emulation Blocks; and provide guidance on extraordinary emulation and rewards.

Pay attention to promptly recognizing, evaluating, honoring, and rewarding advanced models, ensuring the right person, the right job. Strengthen inspection of emulation and reward work; ensure that this work is implemented in accordance with the Law, publicly and transparently.

Also at the conference, the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council reviewed and approved State-level rewards in 2023 for outstanding collectives and individuals in the province.
