On November 24, the Ministry of Education and Training informed about the 15th National Student Singing Contest in 2023. The contest is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Ocean Education Joint Stock Company.
The 14th National Student Singing Competition.
The contest's theme is to praise love for homeland, country, school, teachers and friends; to express dreams, aspirations, feelings and responsibilities of students towards themselves, their families and the community.
Groups can choose to sing solo, duet, trio, group or choir. The songs must be performed in Vietnamese. Contestants singing songs in foreign languages or ethnic minority languages must sing at least once in Vietnamese (or explain the lyrics translated into Vietnamese).
Each contestant can register for no more than one solo performance in each group's competition program. The Organizing Committee encourages contestants to use works that have participated in the songwriting campaign about theEducation sector.
The 2023 “Student Singing Contest” will be held in 2 rounds: Regional round and final round. The Southern regional round will be held from November 24 to 26 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education); the Northern regional round will be held from December 1 to 3 at Thuyloi University ( Hanoi ).
From the regional rounds held in the two regions, the Organizing Committee will select the best performances to win First and Second prizes to participate in the final round held at Phenikaa University (Hanoi) on December 9 and 10.
