Effectively implement many programs and projects to support women and children

Women's Unions at all levels in the province have been implementing many major programs and projects to enhance the role and position of women, contributing to building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction.

Key activities focus on the National Target Program on New Rural Development, Project 8 on gender equality and addressing urgent issues for women and children, the Sustainable Poverty Reduction Program, Project 938 on supporting women in solving social issues, Project 939 on supporting women in starting businesses and Project 01 on supporting cooperatives managed by women.

Accordingly, many practical activities have been organized such as: the forum "Listening to minors speak" in Song Hinh district with the theme "Preventing child marriage in mountainous ethnic minority areas"; organizing training conferences, workshops to improve capacity for union officials and female managers of cooperatives, cooperative groups, women working in non-public waste collection, including members of Women's Clubs collecting recyclable waste in Phu Hoa district, Tuy Hoa city and Dong Hoa town... Through that, the Women's Union organization increasingly affirms its core role in propaganda, mobilization, supporting women to develop comprehensively, actively participate in all areas of social life.
